I am passionate about children being themselves, embracing their differences and learning to achieve the best they can in all that they do. At Doha International Kindergarten, we create opportunities for children to develop a range of skills such as independence, resilience, compassion for others and confidence. This is always facilitated in a safe and happy environment, where learning from your mistakes is embraced and feeling secure enough to have a go at a challenge, is applauded.
In my thirty years of teaching in the UK, and working with children from 3 to 13 years, I feel I have a wealth of knowledge and experience on both the academic and pastoral side. As a previous Head of Pre-Prep in a school in England, I realized my passion and interest for Early Years and the fact that they made me smile every day, confirmed my desire to create this happy and purposeful environment, where each child can blossom and thrive.
I have two children of my own, studying at universities back in the UK, and in my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, and exploring my new home in Qatar.
